Robert Schalk is a seasoned legal professional with a background as a former Nassau County Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Schalk’s expertise spans all facets of criminal law with extensive trial experience, particularly in high-profile media cases. As a prosecutor, Mr. Schalk handled a spectrum of cases, ranging from serious Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases to major offenses and homicides.
In his role as STOP DWI Prosecutor, Robert Schalk honed his skills in DWI protocol, including Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s), accident reconstruction and police procedure. Mr. Schalk’s years of collaboration with law enforcement provided him with a profound understanding of investigative practices, police tactics and courtroom dynamics.
Since entering private practice, Mr. Schalk continues to vigorously advocate for clients facing an array of criminal charges, from DWI and assault to drug offenses, theft, robbery, burglary, and murder.
